On the way home for 56 hours and still counting...
I'm right now in Changi airport in Singapore...I have to stay over night here...but I will get back to that later...for now, I will continue the trip updates from the previous post
So, my amazinggg trip around Europe is pretty much done by now...was closed in an even more amazing ways..
There was always something "big" in my last 3 stops (Budapest, Vienna, and back to Prague)
Budapest: June 27 -29
I happened to be there when T-Mobile sponsored a free concert of Carlos Santana (June 28th). They held it in Heroes Square..it was like sea of people were there....it was beyond cool...!!!!
You can see the pictures from the Budapest picture link by the end of this post (I uploaded the videos in Facebook).
Vienna: June 29 - July 1
June 29th..Yes, the final of European Cup... Spain vs Germany!
Went around the stadium before the game..but if course the ticket was too expensive (500 Euros for the bad seat...no thank you). So I went to see from the big screen together with the rest of the people...and then joined the celebration with the Spanish people after the game..!! =)
Back To Prague: July 1-4
My first stop on the trip was Prague. I left my big luggage at Viktor and Yuliya's place (thanks again you guys!!!), and then went for the trip with my small luggage. So by the end of the trip I came back there for a few days before I took my flight back to Sofia (where I have my flight back to Jakarta).
The "big" thing in Prague was I met a lot of people from AIESEC that I haven't met for quite some time...even had a short reunion of my Icelandic MC team with Thordis and Svetla. Also with a lot of people from WENA (Western Europe and North America) and CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) as they were having a meeting at that time in Prague...again, the timing for me to be there couldn't be better =)
The Going-back-home
On July 4th I left Prague back to Sofia, but I can only stay in the airport because my Bulgarian visa has expired already....and since my next flight was still 18 hours later, and there's not much to see in Sofia airport, I really had to entertain my self..thank God I still have my books and movies...and I could "steal" some wireless signal from the business lounge =)
Then July 5th finally took my flight to London for 3 hours...then transited in London Heathrow for 5 hours.
July 5th at night, took my 13 hours flight to Singapore...arrived in Singapore on July 6th around 17:00.
My flight from Singapore to Jakarta was still on waiting list (though I've ridiculously booked it for more than 2 months ago), and still I didn't get it...
So here I am now, again staying over night in the airport (though Changi airport is 10 million times cooler than Sofia airport), hoping to get the flight July 7th at 07:50 in the morning...which is like almost 4 hours from now...
So yeah, until this post is written, I've been "on my way home" for 56 hours...hopefully it will not be more than 60 hours in total...
A good way to see it? At least I know my last stop would still be home sweet home =)
