Short story of the trip...

Yeah....

It's been a while, and I haven't update about the great trip to Bromo with Fadil, Rini and my Bulgarian friend Dido. So in short, here it goes :)

We drove from Surabaya before midnight and arrived there at 3:30 in the morning. From there we took a jeep and went up and up and up and up.....a little bit more up............and then a lot more up...

and after 30 minutes going up....we continued going up =)
and finally 10 minutes after that....nothing changed...up we went...
until almost an hour we finally arrived close to the top of Mount Penanjakan, which is more than 2,500 meters high.

We were literally above the clouds...I mean, well...yeah, the clouds are below us...maaann..!!!

That place in Mount Penanjakan was the best view point to see Mount Bromo and it's neighbour, Mount Semeru (the highest mountain in Java)...both of them are still active volcanoes.

It was still dark and we waited for the beautiful sunrise from behind the mountains....

Then, after it got really really bright, we went down a bit with the jeep and went to The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. We decided to walk (instead of taking the horse) to see the crater of Mount Bromo.

All and all, words and pictures will never be able to describe the scenery and beauty...but I'll put the pictures anyway...enjoy :)
