Day 42 #HappyGoGrateful - Megan Williams
Lots of big and unforgettable moments...but it was said that sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. It was a horrific time for me, but your texts and phone call forced me to get out and went to Churchill. It's still wasn't the best time at all for me, but it's the best example of what a true friend you are.
It's your precious, genuine, and uncompromising honesty that made you so wonderfully authentic. It's a quality of what true friends are made of. It built the strong trust of our friendship, and made you someone whom I'll go to talk and share with.
Though we shared many of the same likes or dislikes, we don't always agree in everything. In fact, we have lots and lots of disagreements as well. But respect is the ultimate currency, and we respect and accept us for who we are and what we think, because we know it came out of love, caring, and curiosity to learn.
None of us are perfect....which makes it a perfect friendship. I learned how diligent and what a fast-learner you are in like...everything. You go straight to the point and just start doing things...and hey, sarcastic humor always works with me.....all the jokes, laughters, coasters... =D
I didn't leave Churchill feeling great, but I did feel better, because it reminded me of the things I'm grateful for. Those countless awesome times....small things that take up the room in my heart, and I'm grateful for it.
It's not knowledge or ability that defines greatness, but the positive impact we made in others. Your friendship, Meg, have made my heart grow bigger space for those small things. It enriches me to live happier, and I love you and thank you.
